What is therapy with me like?
Hi, I’m Sinead.
I’m an Integrative Psychotherapist offering grounded, relational therapy in London Paddington, Victoria and online.
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. Together we slow down and look at what’s actually going on for you – the thoughts, feelings, and patterns that keep showing up – so you can start to understand where they’ve come from and how they’re shaping your relationships and your sense of yourself.
The integrative part of my work means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, allowing me to tailor the way we work to you, your history, your needs, and what feels most supportive.
My approach is warm, empathic and gently direct. I work with people who want to understand themselves more deeply, reconnect with their inner sense of meaning, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

My experience as a psychotherapist
Alongside my private practice, I’ve worked in a range of mental health settings, including a psychiatric placement at The Maudsley Hospital, London, bereavement counselling within a hospice, and charitable organisations offering low-cost therapy.
I completed five years of training at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE).

Working with me in therapy
Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent over 20 years in senior management, running businesses and working within high-pressure corporate environments. This gives me a deep understanding of performance, burnout, identity, and the emotional cost of success.
My own long-term psychotherapy has had a profound impact on my life, and I believe therapy can offer a powerful space for healing, growth and reconnection.

Ways of Working
Short-term counselling and long-term psychotherapy
Short-term counselling
I offer short-term counselling, with a minimum commitment of 12 sessions. This way of working is often how people begin therapy and is focused on specific concerns or goals.
Depending on what you’re wanting support with, 12 sessions can provide meaningful insight, emotional support and a foundation for positive change
Long-term psychotherapy
I also offer long-term, open-ended psychotherapy for those who want to explore deeper or long-standing issues.
This way of working allows for a slower, more reflective process and often leads to lasting change, greater self-awareness and a stronger sense of connection to yourself and others.

I offer psychotherapy in the following locations, as well as online:
- Paddington/Little Venice: CCPE, Beauchamp Lodge, 2 Warwick Crescent, London, W2 6NE
